How Do I
Become
Something
I Don’t See?

From this simple question, The Delta Project was born.

The Delta Project exists to break the generational cycle of incarceration by reconnecting youth of color and their families to community relationships through mentorship, coaching and storytelling.

Our Youth
Programs

Delta Project programming flips the narrative that too often begins with “at-risk” youth.

Instead, we invest in “at-potential” youth who are dealing with the juvenile justice system, helping them develop a future orientation while constructing a narrative identity that can transcend current circumstances.

If we want to change the way we see boys and men of color, how about we invite them to tell their stories?

About
The Delta Project

Boys and young men of color are disproportionately represented in the juvenile justice system. Many do not have access to relationships with successful men who look like them. Our work at The Delta Project is to create narrative change, and support kids on their journeys to become what they can't always see.
